Andhra chainsaw-wielding ‘stalker’ shot at by cops near forest

Hemanth, a 21-year-old, attacked two Class X girls at a school in Raptadu on Saturday morning. After the brutal incident, he fled, prompting a significant police manhunt in Anantapur district. On Sunday evening, police located him in the Atmakur forest area, where he resisted arrest and injured an officer. In self-defense, police fired upon Hemanth, critically injuring him before transporting him to a hospital.
